The location is perfect for visiting Bryce, it's right down the street from the entrance of the park. Our room was clean, comfortable, had useful amenities like a fridge and a microwave, and fee breakfast included was a big plus. We appreciated that it was pet friendly and there were areas near our building we could walk our dog.

Very well finished interior! Cabin was spotless, well furnished and very comfy and cozy. There are a number of cabin-style properties in Tropic. They may look similar from the outside, but this one was absolutely outstanding on the inside.

The atmosphere of this hotel is perfect. Family owned and operated!! I felt like home. Staff was friendly and very well knowledge about the hikes around. Plus they are excellent in photography 📸

We toured all five Utah's parks over two trips this past summer and fall. Zion is our favorite but Bryce is a close second. Both have awesome scenery, one looking up and one looking down. We are "geriatric" hikers, found both the Bryce zig-zag trail to the bottom and back up, and the Zion trail to Angel's landing, reasonably well maintained and challenging. We were on a schedule so basically had one day (after an early morning run from St. George) to take in the marvelous views and do our hike before checking in to Ruby's Inn. Convenient, reasonable, and memorable, a find for two seniors on a budget.

This is one of the most beautiful areas.
This is one of the most beautiful areas. The hotel was clean, and pleasent. We had the biggest continental breakfast ever in a very nice barn.
There was inside pool and hot tub but we didn't have time to enjoy we spent most of our time in the national park.

The room and facilities were NOTHING like the photos.
The room and facilities were NOTHING like the photos. The bathroom loo seat was broken, the room itself was tiny with little room to walk about.
The quality of furnishings was poor.
The decor was tired to the point of being worn out. The room had clearly not been refurbished since the 1970s and was NOTHING like the photos which were clearly misleading.
The entire experience was poor. There was no option for breakfast and calling the restaurant a “restaurant” was a stretch. More like a cheap cafe.

Amazing!
Amazing! I've always wanted to see Bryce and it doesn't disappoint. The views are incredible. Took a trail ride to the bottom on the canyon and the guide was very knowledgeable of the area and made the ride fun.

It was beautiful wish I could have stayed longer.
It was beautiful wish I could have stayed longer. Hotel was great right outside the entrance of the park. Trails are moderate and family friendly, must be prepared for the hikes, proper shoes and water. Sun screen also.

Stupendous scenery.
Stupendous scenery. Great place to get exercise while enjoying the scenery. Best if you feel comfortable walking/hiking. Rim trail is fairly easy, going down into the canyon, requires hiking back up and also gives exposure to steep edges - make sure you are comfortable with that. It is well worth hiking down - but you need to be comfortable with the steepness. In winter be prepared with traction cleats for your boots or snowshoes. I wore snowshoes on two trails and was glad I had them. When the wind blows in winter - it is extremely cold - be prepared with enough layers and proper clothing.
The location is awesome right at the entrance of Bryce Canyon. Right across the street is the fancier hotel with a restaurant and a general store that has just about anything you need. A good continental breakfast is provided to get your day going. We were there in early spring so the shuttle wasn't running yet but the park is so close. The staff is very helpful. Our room was simple but clean and provided a fridge and microwave which was great to heat up food from the general store.
The hotel was very close to Bryce Canyon and felt like it was fairly new. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast buffet was excellent. It was a great base to explore Bryce Canyon National Park. We were here in March with snow still on the ground, so the pool was closed but it looked nice. We didn't brave the cold to hit the outside hot tube but we did see other guests enjoying it. The staff was friendly. I would stay again.
There were not many other options near Bryce Canyon National Park. There is a place to buy wine inside the lobby, which is good because there were no liquor or wine stores for miles around, though the wine selection was not great - good prices though. Beer could be purchased at the general store at the hotel. The man at the front desk was very nice.
Very central located hotel when visiting Bryce Canyon. Ruby's inn buffet across the road was very good value for money. Great selection of food options and quick to sit people. Breakfast options were good - with biscuits and gravy!!. Even offered boxes to go as we had a very early start on the road.
Room was clean and spacious. The rate was reasonable. Excellent location. The shuttles of Bryce Canyon National Park have stops nearby. The National Park is just 5-10 mins drive from here. The staff was very friendly and explained everything clearly.
The hotel is really close to Bryce Canyon Nat’l Park so very convenient, especially if you plan on staying late or going early. The staff was very nice and the room was huge, comfortable and clean. I definitely would stay there again for the price.
Great location, 5 minute drive from Bryce Canyon park entrance. Overall we spent minimal time at the hotel because there is so much to do at the park but would want nicer amenities if we were going to spend any period of time at the hotel.
Breakfast was great a buffet style with a good selection. Room was a bit dated but more than adequate. the location was excellent just near Bryce Canyon. Country and Western show and dinner nearby was fantastic!
+ great breakfast
+ Bryce Canyon very close
+ staff very helpful, going the extra mile
+ spacious room
+ This Hotel is basically Bryce Canyon city, grocery store, souvenir shop included
Very close to Bryce Canyon, we stayed only for the night—great breakfast and check-in. We also got tickets for a local New Year's eve party nearby and the staff was superb.
The hotel is very close to Bryce Canyon and there is a Mexican restaurant right across the parking lot. Hotel is very clean. Sea and coffee available in the lobby.
Good location close to Bryce Canyon National Park. Convenient restaurant at the property. Staff at the hotel and restaurant were very nice and helpful.
